BR3 HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT - Cutting Instructions for the BR3 Horizontal Sliding Articulated Screening with Wheels for 4.8 m Rails
CUTTING
The maximum width for the single-shutter horizontal screening is 1.50 m. For a width exceeding 1.50 m and up to 3.00 m, we can use a two-shutter horizontal screening.
SINGLE-SHUTTER HORIZONTAL SCREENING
- A. Before cutting it, we slightly push the roll so that its distance from the surface of the profile of the screening-dragging handle is approximately 2 mm. We then push the handle 65 mm, so that it may be cut in smaller dimensions in order to be able to place the appropriate plastic equipment.
- B. We measure the height of the door and we subtract 16 mm out of the total height.
For example: for a 2200-mm door height, we cut the roll at a length of 2200-16=2184 mm. - C. We cut the counter-face of the horizontal screening 2 mm shorter than the total height.
- D. (1) Without the addition of aluminium on the counter-face.
We measure the width of the door and we subtract 72 mm out of the total width, in order to calculate the cutting length of the upper guide.
For example: for a 1400-mm door width, we cut the upper guide at a length of 1400-72=1328 mm.
To cut the lower guide, we subtract 135 mm.
For example: for a 1400-mm door width, we cut the lower guide at a length of 1400-135=1265 mm. - (2) Without the addition of aluminium on the counter-face.

- B. We measure the height of the door and we subtract 16 mm out of the total height.
For example: for a 2200-mm door height, we cut the roll at a length of 2200-16=2184 mm. - C. We measure the width of the door and we subtract 94 mm out of the total width, in order to calculate the cutting length of the upper guide.
For example: for a 2100-mm door width, we cut the upper guide at a length of 2100-94=2006 mm. To cut the lower guide, we measure the total width and we subtract 254 mm divided by two (we cut the guide in the middle).
For example: for a 2100-mm door width, we cut the lower guide at a length of 2100-254/2=923 mm. That is to say, two guides of a width of 923 mm each.
SPRING ADJUSTMENT
- A. We place the spring on the roll in such a way that the profile perfectly abuts against the edge of the roll.
- B. We adjust the spring by turning it toward the side on which the screening is folded, in the following way:
| Door Height | Spring Turns |
|---|---|
| 180 cm | 6 |
| 200 cm | 8 |
| 220 cm | 9 |
| 240 cm | 11 |
